Celebrate the End With Seth Rogen and Friends

This is the End stars speak about the apocalypse.

Somewhere in the mythic land of the Hollywood Hills, James Franco is going to throw a party. Unfortunately what he and his guests (Jonah Hill, Craig Robinson, Danny McBride and Emma Watson) don’t know is that the end of days is nigh, and LA is ground zero for the book of Revelations. In the middle of all of this we find Seth Rogen and Jay Baruchel, two Canadian friends who have grown apart after their mutual successes. That and Jay thinks all of Seth’s friends are douchebags.

In one of the most clever Hollywood satires made in the last decade, This is the End allows a group of actors that we all love to both mock themselves and the never ending hype machine they’ve been pulled into. We talked with Danny McBride about playing himself to which he had these thoughts, “I’m playing James Franco in this film. But seriously, we’re playing heightened versions of ourselves. Heightened versions of the public perception of us.”

For more from Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg check out our interviews on Nerdist.com and stay tuned to the Nerdist Channel for a special video interview with Rogen, Robinson and Jay Baruchel coming later this week.
