E3 2013 Preview
Three days of technology and gaming? We’re in!
The Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3, will again be taking over the Los Angeles Convention Center for three days of exhibitors showing off their wares, both hard and soft. This year, between June 11th and 13th, tens of thousands of professionals will walk through the doors of the trade-only event to see the latest from the video game industry’s top manufacturers, developers and designers. In other words, it’s like a coin collector walking into Scrooge McDuck’s money bin.
This year’s E3 promises to be one of the most amazing yet. Why? Simply because we’ll get a better look at Microsoft’s Xbox One, our first full look at Sony’s PlayStation 4 and new tech like the Oculus Rift. We’ll also learn about EA’s new Star Wars plans, the future of THQ’s former slate of games and just how big Activision can get the giant video screen on their booth.
There will be exhibits by luminaries like Blizzard, Capcom, EA, Warner Interactive, Telltale Games and more showing off their upcoming titles. For up to the minute coverage of E3, including live updates of the major press conferences, stay tuned to Nerdist.com and follow us on Twitter as we storm E3.
