Nerdbytes: Star Wars Goes Swede

Plus, a Trinity Warrior talks and Denisof does Much Ado.

Homemade Trench Warfare – This will be a day long remembered. The guys at Cinefix‘s Homemade Movies have finally taken down the Death Star of film projects by “swede”-ing the final trench run from Star Wars. It stars Chris Hardwick as Luke, Jonah Ray as Biggs and a bunch of cardboard as everything else. It’s perfectly accurate when viewed side-by-side with the original, which you can see, along with a making-of, on Nerdist.com.

The Man Who Draws Justice –  DC Comics will shortly begin Trinity War, the massive, company-wide event pitting the Justice League, Justice League of America and Justice League Dark against each other in an all-out battle for supremacy. You’d think good guys could get along better. Head over to Nerdist.com to read out interview with Trinity War and former Green Lantern artist, Doug Mahnke, to see how he handles the insanity.

Much Ado About Alexis – Speaking of Star Wars, Course of the Force celebrity runner Alexis Denisof is keeping himself busy by hanging out in Joss Whedon’s back yard where he recently starred in a microbudget adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. We caught up with Denisof at Nerdist.com to talk the Bard, being Benedick and when we can see him as the Mirror Master in a big budget version of The Flash.
