NERDSWAG: Roll with D.I.C.E. and Hit the Jackpot

Win one of three enormous digital prize packages!

Bust out your best white tuxedo and get ready to drink some martinis (that’s what cool people do, right?) because Wednesday, February 6th, is the start of the 2013 D.I.C.E. Summit in Las Vegas. We like to call it “Lost Wages.” The D.I.C.E. Summit, which stands for “Design Innovate Communicate Entertain”, is a collection of some of the best and brightest in the digital storytelling and interactive art media. In the spirit of the glitziest city in America, D.I.C.E. and participants Turtle Beach, Capcom, Blizzard, Gearbox, TellTale, Microsoft, NCsoft, Sony and Big Fish Games are offering an obscenely large prize package to you! Simply enter our contest, then visit our Facebook, Twitter and Google+ pages for even more chances. Easier than a slot machine.

This year’s summit will feature an opening keynote address in discussion form by Gabe Newell, president and co-founder of Valve Corporation, and J.J. Abrams, who you may never have heard of… if you’ve been living under several pounds of dirt. The title of their discussion is “Storytelling Across Platforms: Who Benefits Most, the Audience or the Player?” Can the answer be “everybody?” Newell will also be inducted into the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame at the 16th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards, hosted by our own chieftain, Chris Hardwick, which you can watch live at 7:00pm on Thursday the 7th on MachinimaLive.com. It’s like the Oscars for games, but with considerably fewer commercial breaks.

The D.I.C.E Summit is going to be amazing and will make you wish you’d driven out to the desert. Perhaps next year you can take a trip through Bat(man: Arkham City) Country and be an interactive media Hunter S. Thompson; as for this year, you can still win big by entering the D.I.C.E. Digital Prize Package sweepstakes. Included within the packages are codes for the complete Borderlands 2 with 2 DLC packs, The Walking Dead: Season 1 and Street Fighter vs. Tekken to name but three. There will be three (3) Grand Prize Winners, seven (7) Penultimate Prize winners and a whopping forty (40) Runners Up. All you have to do is enter, and visit our Facebook, Twitter and Google+ pages for even more chances to win. You can let it ride and double down without having to sell everything you own.
