YouTube’s Comedy Week Brings a Set List
A whole week of funny stuff on the internet
YouTube is the first stop for people wanting to watch videos filled with everything from cute cats to life fails, but it’s also growing evermore into a place where talented and funny people can showcase their comedic wares. We know this, as do you. YouTube is recognizing this as well by bringing in a massive list of some of the internet’s best laugh-instillers for an entire week of side-splitting chicanery. YouTube Comedy Week is running now through Saturday, May 25th, and will showcase over 40 of the funniest people on the internet and beyond.
What sort of funny people? YouTube has assembled an Avengers-like superteam of comedians to ensure maximum humor is achieved this week. Rainn Wilson, Ryan Higa, Sarah Silverman and Michael Cera of JASH, The Lonely Island, Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Rogen, Vince Vaughn, Norm Macdonald, The Gregory Brothers, The Onion, CollegeHumor, Epic Meal Time and Funny or Die are all among those who’ve been tapped to share the funny. And do you know who else is doing things for YouTube Comedy Week? The Nerdist Channel, of course!
The Nerdist Channel is getting in on the action by premiering new episodes of Set List, featuring comedians like TJ Miller, Bob Odenkirk, Rory Scovel and Drew Carey, classic Kids in the Hall sketches, and the premiere of a new music video from the world’s most unlikely rapper. There will also be a LIVE Set List broadcast on Friday, May 24th from 5-6pm Pacific.
